Posted on February 2, 2021

The new stable version of the desktop browser Vivaldi 3.6 introduces a two-level stack of tabs.

Now the tab bar has a second level for easy management of grouped tabs. The two-level stack takes up slightly more space, but it makes tabs easier to organize.

The two-level stack feature is enabled by default. At the same time, the developers left the compact tab display mode. In the browser settings, you can choose the optimal display mode for tabs.
